Solar Water Heater
Solar water heaters harness the abundant energy of the sun to heat water through a process known as solar thermal heating. The system typically consists of solar collectors, a storage tank, circulation pumps, and controls. Solar collectors, usually mounted on rooftops or other sunny areas, absorb sunlight and convert it into heat energy, which is transferred to a heat transfer fluid (such as water or antifreeze) circulating through the collectors.
The heated fluid is then pumped into a storage tank where it transfers its heat to the water stored within, ready for use whenever hot water is needed.
